| Frequently Asked Questions Toner FAQs "The proof is in the printing!" |
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 Will Refilling harm my printer, plain paper fax machine or photocopier?
Absolutely not. If you follow the simple, instructions (taking less than 10 min to perform) and inspect your work before reinstalling your cartridge, there is no way the cartridge you revitalize with refill product can harm your equipment.
2 Why have I heard using a remanufactured cartridge will void my warranty?
Profit motives! In fact, it is against the law (the Sherman and Clayton Anti-Trust Acts) to tie the purchase or use of a particular supply to the warranty. Its all sales talk designed to scare you.
3 Are there any hazards involved with the handling of toner?
No!"Toner is a nontoxic substance composed of plastic, iron and pigment." Use common sense. (don't eat or purposely inhale large quantities. It’s advisable to handle toner in a well-ventilated area, especially when using the melt and pour process.
4 How many times can I refill on my name-brand, once-used, empty cartridge?
Cartridges can be refilled on average 3 times with no sacrifice in print quality if users can lay their hands on a bottle of toner specifically formulated to preserve the cartridge’s critical image production components (and if they can find a way to get said toner into the cartridge’s toner hopper. Rule of thumb is, continue to refill until no longer satisfied with the print quality.
5 There are reconditioning companies, why would you guys even bother with refills ?
Because customers deserve a choice and a chance to save. Refills offer toner users a 3rd choice. If a customer wants to cut out the middleman and refill their own cartridges , we say, "Go for it!". If they want to spend considerably more and buy new or remanufactured cartridges, that is their choice as well. The customer gets to choose and win and the more choices they have, the better.
6 If the cartridge that was rejuvenated using Refill won't hurt the printer, what, if anything, can go wrong?
Spots, dots, razor sharp thin lines, blank spots or voids showing up on the printed page (in a pattern that repeats several times down the page), then the cartridge has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.
7 Do I really need to buy the Tool Kit, or is there another way to get toner into the cartridge?
The Tool Kit is the fastest and easiest way to "Pop and Pour" toner into your cartridge. Other methods take more time or require additional specialized tools. Depending on your cartridge you might not need the toolkit after all.
8 Is the refill toner made by the same company that makes the brand-name cartridge toner?
It might be, but there is no way to know for sure! Many original equipment manufacturers OEM do not make their own toner. They do not have the time for that..they outsource it.What matters is the print is the same as original cartridge.
The bottom line is, you, the end user wants to save money, without sacrificing quality. We will help you do that- give it a try.We did and never regreted it.

Cartridges work best when they are less than 1 year old to avoid issues to do with drum fatigue
We recommend refilling cartdirges that were purchased new not reconditioned. There is no way of knowing how many times this has been refilled or how old the the drum inside is.
